I'll definitely look into joining you all. What day do you all run. I'm out of town this weekend but I'm free next weekend.

I've Been great! Just doing some planning for the wedding and working and school work. And running of course. I've made some changes to my running schedule that will hopefully keep my miles up and keep me from going too many days between runs. How have you been.

Hi Jason. Appreciate the update. I know you're feeling a little down because we've been talking about Catalina the whole season. But it is a good call. I would probably do the full too, if I had the extra money, but I don't. The main thing is you've kept training this whole time and this has done wonders for your health. As with life, there are things that don't go the way we planned and we just gotta take the punches. Pasadena is a good alternative. If you don't feel confident about the full, then you can do the half. Remember, the process is the goal. We just gotta go out and run. If by any chance we don't get to do our race, then all the effort isn't lost really. You have a stronger body now than when we started the season, and you've had good and great runs with our fellow Sole Runners. We'll cheer you on, race or no race.

Hi Jason, it was good to see you yesterday at the Long Beach Turkey Trot! Hope you had a good race and also a good Thanksgiving.

Congrats Jason! I'm so bummed that I wasn't able to see you cross the finish line. My parents had been at the event since 7:30am and were pretty tired so we only hung around for a short bit after Julia and I finished. I'm so proud of our accomplishments and for running with all you BeachRunners. I was an amazing experience. I don't know about Fall for me either but I am definately running the Huntington Beach Half. No more marathons for me...one is enough. I'll stick to half's after this one! :-)

Hi Jason,
I was worried about you! I thought the 5+ hours we did last Sat did you in. Glad to know you weren't hurt or anything. We did 10 miles in about 1:45 or so. No, I won't be out at the track, I'll out there Sat for our 1 hour run.

Hi Jason, how did your long run go on Saturday? I ran with the 6.30 group and looked out for you on the way back but didn't see you. Hope it went well!

AFC Half went well...although it was a totally different kind of course than I am used to running in LB. Downhill start and uphill finish. My legs have been killing me for the last few days! Julia and I will be at the track tonight so I'll see you then!

Well...at least you got the big 3 hour run out of the way and it looks like we have a break this week...thankfully! Tucson was HOT and humid but we had a good time exploring the area and visiting with my boyfriend's parents. I'm in a wedding this coming weekend in San Diego so I won't be at the run on Saturday but I'll do my homework in SD. Have a great week!

About Me:
I have been a weight watcher member for over a year now and it was the best thing. I was introduce to weight watcher by a good friend a personal trainer. During this period I started walking at my job and I started running with a co-worker on Saturdays. One time we ran and he said we just ran a 5K. I did not know what that was, he told me we just run 3.2 miles. I said to myself..this was not to bad..I was hook. So I ran in my first 5K in Dec 2006. I was great and nerves at the same time. I then went to do the Long Beach Half in 2007. I felt if I can do the half I can do a full Marathon so I registered for the LA Marathon this year and I completed. One of the greatest feelings I ever had in my life. I will never forget it. I read that joining a group for training is a great idea to meet other runners and learn new techniques. The book I read was right. I'm having a great time with Sole Runners.
