Catalina Marathon Accommodations

Hello Beach Runners! ...or should I say Trail Runners?


This is Anna Erickson, one of your fellow runners. I am looking to see if there is anyone out there that needs a roommate at Catalina. I am looking to find accommodations for the marathon fairly soon and would like a roommate and,or roommates. Please send me a message if you are interested. :)

Article from this Sunday's Parade Magazine...

Just thought that I would share this article from this Sunday's Parade Magazine, in the LA Times, about a marathoner and avid athlete who found out she had diabetes. She was also the first diabetic athlete to qualify for the U.S. Olympic marathon trials. Very inspiring...

So, I did give you the wrong info. I just got my hair cut. The name of the salon is Renee's Unisex Hair Salon (562) 423-1694 at 915 E. South Street, Long Beach. Open M-F 9-7 and Sat 8-7 Sun 8-4. It's a hole in the wall. Franncisca will not be there until Friday. I had one of the other girls cut it.

Anna, I don't...I am only going for Sat night. I am supposed to have some college girlfriends stay with me...I will try to get info on if they are; I may have room. Yolanda Gomez is also going. Not sure of her sleeping situation.
