About Me:
I was a totally sedentary person in the past (never be athletic and good at any sports). I started running for fitness about 1 year ago. Trained by the Galloway program for a few months, I ran the San Diego RnR Marathon 2007 and finished in ~6hr. It was a great experience and I have continued running. I have just ran the San Diego RnR Marathon a few minutes shy from 5hr. I would like to join or try out different trainings to improve my running.

Other hobbies are eat and travel. I like to try/see new stuffs.

I would like to be a sub-4 one day and continue to run thru my life time.

Glovia's Chi Running learning experience

I found Chi Running and SoCalRunning by accident. After Galloway training for a year or so, I have improved the run:walk ratio quite a bit already. I can do 10:1 or mile repeats for over 10 miles. However, somehow, this run:walk style does not satisfy me anymore. I want to challenge myself. The Chi Running seems “different.” I want to give it a trial to see if it can bring me to next level.

I met some cyber friends in SoCalRunning. They have given me a lot of info.

Being new to Chi Running, th… Continue

Glovia,
Look me up and we will work on it this Saturday. You are very close to proper foot placement.

Hi Glovia. Got your messages. Good for you that you signed up for the Chi-Running Workshop on Sunday. I think you don't need a second trial run with the Beach Runners on Saturday then. I won't be there on Sunday, but I'm sure you'll have fun learning Chi-Running with Steve and Gary. Let me know how it goes.

I have just posted my picture so that Bernice can recognize me when I meet her in one of the Sat. This is the pre-race picture for the San Diego RnR Marathon 2008.

Hi Glovia! Flock of Seagulls rock! Love them!

Congratulations on your PR at the SD Rock N Roll. I was there but only for a sunburn... and some sideline cheering too :)

Let's set up a Wii tennis tournament. Yipee!
