A colon cleanse diet can be somewhat effective. Eating meals with a high amount of fiber along with a lot of water will undoubtedly have a positive effect on colon health. However, it is definitely not one hundred percent effective. This is why rather or in addition to a colon cleanse diet you should use colon cleansing supplements about four times per year. The supplements are filled with an extremely tough fiber, usually psyllium, as well as a mild laxative. If you fast for twenty four hours and take the supplement you will notice it to be much more effective than a colon cleanse diet; and this can be judged both by what you pass as well as the positive effects you feel.
